Ashley Monroe

Ashley Monroe hails from America and is a country music singer/songwriter. The album Satisfied came out in 2007. She formed a Pistol Annies band with Angaleena Lambert and Miranda Lambert. Her second album, Like a Rose (2013) follows her previous album. Ashley Monroe Performing with Blake SheltonIn 2015 she came up The Blade, her follow-up album. The Blade, another album which earned her fame and high praise. Ashley Monroe is the Assistant Village Manager of the Village of Riverside Illinois and has over 15 years of experience working in the public sector, including more than five years of being the Deputy City Manager for Iowa City. Her current responsibilities as the Assistant Village Manager includes the management of the Community Development and Building Department in coordinating grant applications and working on special tasks. Ashley is responsible for supporting the village's services on a daily basis, while working with the elected representatives of the local area. Ashley's past roles included the budgeting and planning of government communications, staff management and collective negotiation. Ashley is also passionate about climate change. Ashley's participation in national organizations, and her involvement with diverse communities and population sizes has provided her with an understanding of the different aspects and commonalities between the ways in which various public agencies operate. Ashley's instruction focuses on current methods of public management and leadership, from the viewpoint of an experienced professional. She concentrates on making strategies and ethical decisions in order to take advantage of today's opportunities and issues, as well as manage intergovernmental relations.
